Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
In order to provide a particular immigration pathway for skilled crafts professionals, the IRCC or Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada established the FSTP or Federal Skilled Trades Program in 2013. Among the three federal economic initiatives run by the Express Entry system is the FSTP. Talented immigrants from all socioeconomic backgrounds are accepted through the Express Entry program. Numerous advantages come with applying for immigration to Canada through the FSTP. Successful FSTP applicants can typically get their permanent residency under Express Entry in less than six months.
Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
Three of the most important skilled worker programs in Canada, including the FSWP, use the Express Entry application management system. The FSWP is your best Express Entry option if you have never lived in Canada before and are not a skilled trades professional. You must first check to see if you meet the requirements of the FSWP. It is advantageous to pursue immigration through the FSWP because, in contrast to the longer processing timelines for the other skilled worker programs, you can obtain permanent residency within six months.
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC), an immigration program, enables people who have worked in Canada for at least a year to enter permanently. CEC is included in Canada’s Express Entry immigration program. The Canadian government recognizes the vast pool of brilliant people already employed there and encourages their application for permanent residency. These are people and families who have established themselves in Canada and have made plans for the future.
Provincial Nomination Program (PNP)
For people who want to immigrate to a particular Canadian province or territory, the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) offer a route to permanent residence in Canada. Every province and territory in Canada has its own PNP that is tailored to its own economic and demographic requirements. With the exception of Quebec and Nunavut, every province runs a number of PNP streams. The qualifying requirements and application processes for these streams vary since they were created by the provinces to assist in achieving their own immigration goals.
A Visitor Visa, also known as a Tourist Visa or Temporary Resident Visa, is a legal document that you must have with you at all times in your passport as proof that you have met the conditions for temporary admission to Canada (either as a visitor, student, or worker). There are five types of Visitor Visa – Work, Business, Visitor/Tourist Study, and Temporary Resident. Before beginning the application procedure, it is crucial to know whether you require a Visitor Visa to enter Canada. You could require an electronic travel authorization in other circumstances (eTA).
A Super Visa lets your Parents or Grandparents live with you in Canada on a temporary status for a longer duration of time compared to a Visitor Visa. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) introduced new changes in this category which is a great benefit for the applicant. Effective July 4, 2022, the length of stay in Canada for Super Visa holders has been increased to 5 years on a single entry (previously it was only 2 years). There are specific requirements to apply for this type of Visa and Canizm Immigration Solutions Inc. can assist you in the entire application process.
Canada Work Permit
Post Graduate Work Permit
Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWPs) are Open Work Visas granted to foreign students who complete a program of study in Canada. PGWPs give their holders the freedom to work wherever they want, for any company in Canada. PGWPs are an excellent method to gain priceless Canadian work experience and are valid for eight months to three years (depending on the length of the program). Once a candidate has worked in Canada, many avenues for obtaining Canadian permanent residence become available. Canizm Immigration Solutions Inc. can assist you in applying for your Post Graduate Work Permit in an efficient way.
Spousal Work Permit
With few restrictions, a spouse of temporary Canadian permit holders is able to work anywhere in Canada for any employer. Depending on the applicant’s position in Canada or the status of their application for permanent residency, different application processes exist for the Spousal Sponsorship Open Work Permit. Without the necessary authorization, foreign nationals are not permitted to work in Canada. Without the appropriate work permit, it is illegal to work in Canada and could affect a candidate’s upcoming immigration applications.
LMIA Work Permit
Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) issues a document called a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to evaluate the effects of hiring a foreign worker in Canada. An employer may engage a foreign national if the LMIA is positive and there is no Canadian citizen or permanent resident to fill the post. When the LMIA is negative, it means that a Canadian citizen or permanent resident should occupy the position. An LMIA cannot be requested by a foreign national. These are applications that must be made by a Canadian employer.
